Lotus & Water Lily Festival – DAY 5: Kid’s Day

Its Kids’ Day in the park! Activities will be geared to kids and their families. Come out to the park to make observations with your Junior Ranger and participate in the games, show and class.
Beehive and Bee Activities- 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Explore the wonders of a live beehive (the bees are safely behind glass) and other hands on fun for kids.
Read with a Ranger – 10:00 am
Come read with a ranger and learn more about the environment at Kenilworth Aquatic gardens
Raptor Program – 11:00 am
Learn about local birds of prey and their adaptations in this program with live hawks and owls by Secret Garden of Birds and Bees.
Games with the Rangers- 12:00 pm
Get your after lunch energy out and enjoy games with the rangers! Learn about fish, birds and other animals while having fun in the park.
Art Class – 1:00 pm
Get creative! Join artist Darrelynne Strother for this mixed media art class and have something you can take home after your day at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.
Family Ranger Walk – 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Use your observation skills and learn what makes Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens special. Rangers will lead family through the park on the thirty minute walk.
