Come enjoy melodious sounds of jazz as you walk amongst the first pink lotus blossoms of the season at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!
We are thrilled to partner with East River Jazz and the National Park Service to provide this family-friendly afternoon filled with nature, music, face painting, arts and crafts at one of DC’s most treasured parks, and the only park dedicated to water-loving plants in the national park system. The beautiful lotus flowers and lily pads the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is known for will be in bloom during the concert.
Bring your family, friends, pets and a picnic! We hope you join us for this unforgettable experience!
When: June 13, 3:00pm-5:00pm. We recommend you arrive early to enjoy a relaxing walk through the park before the concert.
Where: The Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens (1550 Anacostia Ave, NE 20019).
Getting there: There is a large parking lot at the park entrance and abundant street parking surrounding the park. The park entrance is a mile from the Deanwood Metro Station on the Orange Line.
What you should bring: Bring your family, friends, pets and a picnic! The more the merrier! Please note there is no alcohol allowed in the park and all pets must be on leash.
