Do you enjoy spending time in nature? What if we told you can make observations about wildlife that contribute to scientific research on urban biodiversity? Join the City Nature Challenge!
This is a worldwide competition among metro area residents to see who can spot and identify the most wildlife. It is a great way to spend time outdoors while collecting valuable information for scientists. You can make observations from your yard, in your local neighborhood, or by visiting an outdoor space like the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. You only need a working camera and access to the internet to participate. Bonus, it’s free!
The observation period begins on Friday, April 30th and ends on Monday, May 3rd. For more information on the City Nature Challenge and to learn how you can join, click here.
We look forward to seeing what you observe during your visit to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens!
