Since 2014, Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens has provided spring break and summer break camps and to the children and families in our Ward 7 neighborhood. These camps are neighborhood and park-based programs that provides safe, high-quality programming when parents and caregivers need it most.
Junior Ranger Adventure Squad
Junior Ranger Adventure Squad at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens fosters a connection to nature, a sense of belonging, and inspires curiosity about the local watershed and its diverse array of plants and animals. During Spring Break and Summer week-long camps, Ward 7 students (and families!) explore and celebrate the park through hands-on activities and projects. The program is in partnership between Urban Adventure Squad and Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens.
Registration for both Spring Break and Summer of 2023 for rising 1-8th graders will open soon! This year’s camp dates include:
April 11-17 Spring Break Camp 9am-3pm
June 26-30 Summer Camp 9am-3pm

Cost is $435 week or $105 with a no questions asked scholarship made possible by Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens. If you need additional scholarship support, please email info@urbanadventuresquad.org
