Community Voices: Leave Your Footprint on the Park

     Our elders know the secrets, have the stories and hold the keys to what our communities used to look like and how they functioned. Friends of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens wants to know from our senior and seasoned residents what your experience of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens has been over the last eight decades. If you are, or know of a Washington, D.C. senior resident and/or live in Ward 7 where Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is located, we would like you to leave your footprint on the park by sharing your memories with us on camera, audio or for print so we can capture your oral history for the culture. All we need is about 10 minutes of your time. 

Meet us at the park for refreshments and to share your experience on the following dates and times, and bring a friend:

• Thursday, August 1 from 8am-1pm
• Thursday, August 8 from 8am-1pm
